  • Why are your gowns so cheap and will the quality be sacrificed?

We don't consider our gowns CHEAP...but we do love a bargain.  Our manufacturers use very fine fabrics and have such great attention to detail that the only sacrifice is the HUGE retail markup!  Quality is absolutely never sacrificed!

Matte satin, chiffon and tulle are the most popular materials used on any gown-anywhere, however, we can get other types of materials for an additional fee and if we're given a little more time.  Just email your request and let us see how we can best handle your gown order.

We operate out of our small office and don't have to handle any inventory!  Low overhead is naturally a great big savings to you.  Love those bargains!

Where can I try my gown on before I buy it?

Please remember we are an INTERNET storefront; so unfortunately, there is no trying it on before purchase.  If that is a major concern for you, you will probably want to shop retail stores and then be subject to their pricing. No more bargains!

We feel very secure in our ordering process.  We have a full two inch allowance available in all gown bodices for any alterations you may need to do after you receive the gown.  This is especially great if you order early in the event planning process and reach your weight loss goals!  (Yes, we know you're dieting---ALL brides go on a diet the minute they "accept his proposal!)

What we like to suggest to ease your mind is this:  Take your maid of honor and your mom and go dress shopping at your favorite retail gown store.  Truly make a fun day of it -- take the undergarments and shoes you'll be most likely wearing on your day.  Try on a few different styles (different necklines, skirt styles, materials).  Once you've found a style that you really love or that everyone agrees looks fabulous on you, make notations of the gown's specifics (sweetheart neckline, aline skirt, etc.). Then come back and shop our site again and see if we don't have a gown very similar to that one.  Maybe you'll found your dream gown for LESS!

What if I make a mistake in measuring!?

Unfortunately, we have no way of knowing your true measurements!  A suggestion, while you are out shopping the retail shops, let them measure you!  They are professionals at this, and just have mom and your maid of honor jot down those numbers!  Place them in your "wedding ideas notebook" (you know you have one!) and when you're ready to order, you've got them in one handy place!

A note of comfort, all of our gowns have a standard 2 inch side seam allowance, this is usually very handy when making alterations (either up or down).  If you make a mistake, a good seamstress will be able to salvage your gown.

Holy cow! He wants to marry in less than a month! Can you get my dress in time?

Congratulations!!  Love those "sneak attack" proposals!  We would love to help you but could not guarantee that you'd be able to get your gown in time.  Maybe you could talk him into waiting a few more weeks and if NOT, then we suggest you go to a shop in your neighborhood and get something off the rack that they won't have to order. You can always try the consignment shops for "quick" gowns!

Rather than disappoint you and add more stress wondering if you'd get your dress on time, we'd always contact our manufacturere to be certain of ship times!  If they hesitate, we'll probably deter you from waiting on us.

    Best of luck to you!

    I usually wear a size 6, do I just order a 6 from you?

First of all, a size SIX??? Really?  In our office, we haven't seen a size six in forever.  We are super jealous of you!  ;)

Just kidding!  But to answer your question, no, you'd probably need an 8.  We're not sure why the manufacturers always want us more depressed and stressed during this already crazy time by making us feel bigger than we really are, but the gowns always seem to run small.  So, someone wearing a 10 in "street" clothes, will probably need a 12.  Please compare your measurements to the size chart on our site.  Order using the largest size.  Alterations to make gowns SMALLER is much easier than altering LARGER!

How can I reach Megan's Bridal Corner's customer service?
You can reach us via email.  We will do our very best to reply within 24 hours. Or you can call us at 830-947-4461.

I found a gown in a magazine that I love, but I can't afford to pay $5000! Can you help me?

We can't answer that until we see the gown!  Send us a picture and tell us the type of material you want and we'll see what our creators can do!  If they can make it we'll guarantee it will cost a fraction of that $5000!  If we have something similar in our pattern files, we'll do our best to create it.

It NEVER hurts to ask!  And it doesn't cost you anything either! ;)

What if I really want to return my gown?

At Megan's we do not allow returns or exchanges.

So, again, we ask that you choose wisely, but know that we want you to be ecstatic with your gown and we'll do our best to get you in the right gown UP FRONT!

    Do you have a layaway?
We are really not set up for a layaway, however, we will consider this on a case by case scenario.  We truly do not have the storage space for this.  Also, please know that our gowns are in plentiful supply.  The manufacturer keeps on top of fashion trends and creates with these trends in mind.  We can get your dress for you in plenty of time for your day, given enough up front time.  But feel free to call us to discuss.  Maybe we'll have a better suggestion for you!

How do I pay for my gown?

Once you've decided on a gown, size and color, send us an email with your information and we'll send a paypal invoice straight to your inbox.  You don't need a paypal account, only a credit card or a bank account. PayPal does all the hard work for each of us!

If you need to pay by check, money order, cashier's check...we will have to wait to process the order approximately 10 - 14 days depending on the length of time it takes all of our banks to process the payment.  Once the payment has cleared both banks, we will start your order.

Credit card payments are only accepted through PayPal.
